I looked on the site... im confused if it starts on the 11th or the 17th?|||March 31st|||The first round of the Australian Open starts on Monday, January 17th. By that day, the qualifying rounds should be completed.
However, when it's Sunday the 16th [during the day] in the USA, it's already Monday the 17th, in Melbourne, which is 15 hours ahead of New York City, or 18 hours ahead of L.A.
Right now, they're playing three warm-up tournaments knows as the Australian Open Series:
