How to know the serial number and manufacturing date of sony ericsson without open the battery?

Hi.You can only get the serial number from the back of the phone.As for seeing what type of phone it is I suggest just looking at pictures of each ericsson on the internet.Look on phonescoop web site.There are all sony phones on there.
