Is dry cereal really good until the expiration date if its open?

I have like boxes of dry cereal in my pantry that have been open for some time...however, the expiration date states its good until a further date...


Is it still eatable?|||it's edible, but it is probably stale. try it!|||it might be stale in the inner packaging wasnt closed tight but its edible
