Where do you find the expiration date on a bottle of open pit barbecue sauce?

I have no idea how old this bottle is and I don't want anyone getting sick. No where on the bottle due I see a date. Even if you can get me an 800# to call the company.|||Look on the back on the neck of the bottle there should be either a date or a code with #'s . Or check the bottom of the bottle. If you find it or dont call the # on the bottle and ask them where you can find it.|||It depends on the brand. Usually it is printed on the lid or on the label.

Bottom line: BBQ sauce is not that expensive. If there is a question, throw it out and get a new bottle.|||to be honest i leave my barbq sause out of the fridge and have never gotten sick from eating it so i'd say if in the fridge then it should be fine maybe it doesnt expire if it has no experation date|||My parents buy Open Pit BBQ sauce and I've never been able to find an expiration date on that brand. I would say that if you're unsure you should throw it out.|||If you have to question it, buy another bottle|||I just looked on a bottle I have and the exp date is printed on the plastic itself right above the nutrition label. They were dumb enough to use black ink on a bottle with dark brown sauce, so it may be a little hard to see!|||Chuck it. Last time you used it was the last time you barbecued. If it was opened then it is to old.

Often it is on the seal you remove before opening the bottle. If it is not on there......do the math. It's old.
