I opened the pack on monday and have kept it in the fridge with cling film. Will it still be okay even though its 2 days out of date? It looks okay.|||As long as it looks OK and smells fine, it should be good to eat.|||It will not hurt you to throw it away. On the other hand, if it is bad, it will hurt you to eat it. How much risk are you willing to accept?
Want to chance it? Make sure it looks like good bacon, smells like good bacon, and feels like good bacon. If it doesn't pass all three then throw it out for sure.
Still want to chance it? Make sure you cook it every well, extra crispy to kill off the greatest number of germs.|||it will be fine, trust me i'm a doctor. i'm not a doctor really i've just always wanted to say that but eating bacon two days out will do you no harm at all i've done it lots of times, honest!|||I personally wouldn't. I'm pretty picky when it comes to the freshness of meats. But if you cook it well and all the way through,it should be fine. Do the smell test.|||If its gone dark around the edges and smells vinergary then throw it away. If still pink and smells ok eat it.|||Yes - just about. But cook it today.
