|||You can, but open-returns are usually quite expensive. They are either unrestricted economy--the most expensive economy seats--or business class. Another hurdle are immigration/passport control points when you arrive. Most countries will not let you enter without proof of onward travel within the allowed tourist days (assuming you don't need a visa), and if pressed, you must provide proof of sufficient funds to support your stay. And oh yeah, pre-arranged visas are usually for specific dates; overlapping dates too much might send up a red flag for an immigration officer checking your passport. The main thing is just that you have proof of onward travel within the tourist allowed days, though.
