Why is it that I get last months (Sept) date when open my yahoo site. It now 10/21/11. and the news old.what d?

I am having trouble with my Yahoo site, when I open the site, the date show Sept 13, 2011, and that is old news. The date is now Oct 21. 2011. How do I correct this problem so that my Yahoo site is up to date and time?|||Contact Yahoo. But good luck. The only thing they're good and quick at is bashing conservatives.
